My work on Rise of the Tomb Raider began back when we still called it TRX. I spent time experimenting with new systems, building playgrounds we called 'gyms'. TR's processes were very documented. Climbing may only remain uninterupted for 3 seconds. Jumps players can't make must be 2 meters still further out to avoid accidental death. The team (probably rightfully) think of themselves as a superstar sports team. No pain no gain. Games get built in 4 stages. The final is polish.
