Against a wall, I push exceptionally hard.
Lara Croft was as tough to bring together as SimCity but I felt a strength in the tedium. Headphones and 16hrs of the same 5 min. task only recharges my creative side for later.
My first boss in games aimed to balance two types of designers, some who you want to have from the start for their endless prospects/fixes and others who know just where to focus and where to cut to ship a game.
I always aim to be both.
